Use of personal information:

SolarSense believes that confidential information should be kept confidential. Personal information that we take in order to ship orders or send brochures is not sold, traded, or rented to third parties.

We like to know who our customers are so that we can inform them of special events, promotions, and products that we believe will enhance their experience with solar energy. At the individual customer level, this is the full extent of our use of your personal information.

All customer information is stored offline in a secure facility and cannot be accessed from our web site.

We may on occasion provide aggregated statistics of our customer database to our supplier partners. This information helps our supplier partners better understand SolarSense customers and our business. A thorough understanding of our customers allows our supply chain to participate with SolarSense in offering the right products at the right price.

Use of financial Information:

SolarSense will take credit card information for billing purposes, such as the credit card number, the name on the card, and the expiration date. This information is only used to authorize transactions. Customers may also pay by check or international postal money order as an alternative to providing credit card information. See the ordering section for instructions on payment options other than credit cards.

Customer Surveys:

We believe that personal interaction is the best way to ensure your satisfaction as a SolarSense customer. From time to time, SolarSense will contact existing customers via telephone who have bought products from SolarSense. Only customers who have purchased products are considered for surveys. This activity ensures that we maintain a high standard of customer service, and that the products we sell are performing as advertised. We may also ask about new product ideas that you may have arising from your experiences with solar energy.
